BBL’s legal in-house legal counsel in Asia will help us make sure the transaction moves smoothly, you get exactly what are expecting and when you are expecting it. We will also bind factories into exclusive agreements to protect your market, so your idea doesn’t end up on shelf next to yours.

Quality is the largest wildcard in dealing with Asian factories, and this where BBL really shines. First, we will only consult factories with a known reputation as good manufacturer. Second, we will conduct our own review of their quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure they are up to par. Third, we will take your instructions and personally visit the factory and inspect your shipments to make sure your specifications are met before you pay or it leaves port.

Countless shipments from Asia are rejected upon arrival in the U.S., costing companies time, money, and aggravation. This will never happen to a BBL client.

Communication is most important element to making a sourcing relationship successful. Often poor communication is to blame for an international deal going sour. BBL will stay in constant communication with the factory source to make sure our client’s projects are being prepared properly, on-time, and without incident, and will provide frequent updates.

In addition, “English-speaking” locals can take orders via email, but the details, intricacies, style, nuance, and levels of priority that are critical for the customer’s competitive edge will inevitably be lost in translation. BBL’s Taipei partner Paul Liang grew up in Taiwan and graduated from the University of Washington.
